LAKLÉ is a 100% Québec family-owned business founded in 1990 by Mario Vachon and his wife Johanne Bouchard. It has more than 30 years of experience in the field of high-end custom packaging and complementary services to the printing industry. The family tradition continues with the arrival of Audrey Bouchard-Vachon (2nd generation) within the company’s management team.
In addition to being a well-known manufacturer of cardboard boxes, Laklé is recognized by its peers, customers and suppliers for its creativity and innovation, as well as the quality of its products.
In the beginning, Laklé focused primarily on complementary services to commercial printers, but as the packaging market evolved and customers demanded high-end or highly complex products, it became a leader in the manufacturing of high-end custom cardboard packaging in small and medium quantities.
There are several packaging manufacturers, but few can be as creative as Laklé.

Our products are intended for companies, institutions, agencies, graphic designers, commercial printers, start-up companies, organizations wishing to launch new products or corporate gifts, etc.
Laklé is a state-of-the-art packaging manufacturer with high-speed automatic die-cutting and gluing presses.
Laklé has also been awarded the Gutenberg Award on several occasions over the years for its innovative, complex and original creations (Prize rewarding an exceptional artistic, technical or scientific contribution in the field of printing and packaging).

Our team
Mario Vachon / Founder, President and General Manager
Mr. Vachon has more than 40 years of experience in the packaging and printing services sector, both as a press operator and as a manager/businessman. His creative and innovative ideas, his mastery of technical packaging processes and his determination have earned him the title of “Master Box Maker” by his peers. Mr. Vachon is intrinsically involved in the day-to-day management and operations of his company.
Johanne Bouchard / Co-founder, Vice-President
Ms. Bouchard is Vice President of Laklé. She started her experience as a laboratory technician at Brunet Pharmacies for more than 15 years. Co-founder of Laklé, she then developed an expertise in the management and manuracturing of custom packaging with her husband for over 30 years. Her main role is to manage purchasing as well as the internal and financial management of the company.
Audrey Bouchard-Vachon / Business Development Manager - Sales
Having grown up in the family business, Ms. Bouchard-Vachon is in charge of identifying and developing business opportunities in order to achieve the company’s sales objectives. Her main role is to analyze the market potential and target industries and prospective companies in Quebec, as well as developing a list of potential clients.
David Lévesque / Director of Operations and Production
During his 27 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry, Mr. Lévesque has held various positions (presse operator, project manager/estimator, ink representative/distributor at Sun Chemical, etc.) allowing him to develop a diversified technical expertise that contributes to the company’s growth. As Director of Operations/Production, he is in charge of controlling all production activities, quality control and the efficiency of the production line.
Marie-France Michaud / HR/Administration Manager
Ms. Michaud has over 25 years of experience in the field of human resources. She first worked as a Human Resources Advisor at Olymel and at Maax, before joining Laklé. Her main responsibilities are to ensure the development, implementation and optimization of all HR processes (recruitment, labour relations, training, compensation, procedures and performance evaluation). She also advises management on HR management, communication, and the administrative and financial management of the company.
Monic Harbour / Special Projects Manager Laklé and DDA Slick
Ms. Harbour has over 20 years of experience in management, sales and administrative procedures. Prior to joining Laklé, she worked as an Administrative assistant in consulting engineering offices and as Office manager/Executive Assistant for a natural gas and oil exploration company. Together with the CEO, Ms. Harbour is responsible for the completion of various mandates or strategic projects (production equipment acquisitions, contract negotiations, drafting/development of marketing tools, new technologies, import/export, etc.). She ensures activities cohesion in respect with the company’s objectives and expected costs, deadlines, quality and scope of each projects.
